Tonight Devin got final jeopardy right.
That is not what is impressive. What is impressive is that he got the right answer from the Category. Not the clue. The category.
The Category was "Great Chefs of Europe" or something like that.
And from the category alone, Devin knew the answer was "Escoffier".
I mean seriously. 1) I never would have known the answer in 100 years. 2) I have never got a right answer from the category alone. I am beyond impressed.

Just a note, it's not the first time I have gotten final jeopardy correct. I get final jeopardy correct a lot.
I normally feel really good if I get one question right in Jeopardy. Once regular old question. If I get the final question right, which I have once I think, I feel incredible!
I love the "guess the answer based on the category" game. I was eerily close once, but I don't think I've ever been spot on.

I too love the "guess the answer from the category" game. Once, I got the answer (question? it is Jeopardy) before even the category was given. It was "Fred Savage". I had myself convinced that I was psychic, it was quite uncanny but I suppose that it was merely a bizarre coincidence.
I'm impressed because I've never heard of that guy or gal or whatever it is. And of course my kids come from a great gene pool. Not necessarily MY gene pool, but a great one!!--That doesn't sound right--what I mean is, that part of their genetic structure does not come from me. There are other greats that they have that do come from my part of the gene pool. I think?
By the way when do we get a picture of the 'you-know-what'?!
